I wonder if gambling stocks would be resistant to global deflationary stock market declines. I have been following (and own a modest stake in) Sportingbet: twst.com which has had its downs and ups: finance.yahoo.com but which is expanding: biz.yahoo.com It is regulated by the British government and it is hard to see how the United States can prevent people from gambling there if they want to.
