Well, Nadine, all you are confirming is my statement that the Pals remain refugees because no country will take them. The reasons those countries have, be it Israel or Jordan are not the issue for the Pals. The issue for the Pals is that no country will. If you can take care of that one minor issue, the refugee status will go away.

Please note that if Israel grants them citizenship, the refugee status goes away as well. However, another problem crops up, so I don't think we well see that happen.

Now Jordan has a similar problem. They could become a Palestinian state. But the Pal population there is already so high, that the others (including the King) are not keen on more. What a surprise, its the same issue Israel has.
