They are arab refugees living in arab lands. It amazes me that you think its just peachy keen for the pal/arab refugees to be the only ones left in the world who have not been resettled. Why do you think that is? If you answer that question, you will understand the entire issue. And by the way, the US has always taken in its fair share of refugees. Plenty of christian Pals living in NYC for example. Mike

As I have been trying to point out, the Arab countries with Pal inhabitants don't want them either. Which is why they remain refugees. Neither Israel nor the Arabs states will give them citizenship. It has nothing to do with what I want or don't want.

As far as motivation my WAG is this:

1) Israel won't because Jews want ethnic control of Israel.

2) Arabs won't because they want ethnic control of their own countries AND because they want to stick it to Israel.

For both 1) and 2) I say so what! I don't care what the respective sides own selfish reasoning is. I'm simply stating that the Pals are on the short end as a result. Do you think otherwise?
