In fact, some Israelis have called for cutting the American aid to Egypt. That way may reduce the Egyptians' ability of building up arms.

But the billion US dollar aid to Egypt annually has been meant to buy peace for Israel. And so far so good for that purpose for a few decades. If US cut Egypt aid, Egypt may become "wild" to Israel, I'm afraid.

That's a dilemma.
