No, of course you're not wrong about this. With the leftist PC crowd, as with the Arab states, I can't see that they care two straws about the actual Palestinians, it's only "the cause" that motivates them. In both cases, the cause involves destroying Israel. The difference is that the Arab states admit this goal and the leftist PC crowd won't; they just mumble pieties about pure democracy and binational states. Let them go work for minority rights in Egypt or Lebanon or Iraq, and I'll be more impressed with their caring.
