So according to your logic, anyone who owns U.S. gov't bonds or T-Bills doesn't really have an asset of any value. If that's the case, I'll PM you my address and I'd like for you to send me any U.S. bonds that you may own. They are worthless to you, but I would wager I'd be able to sell them on the open market for a pretty penny. :)

Same goes for the SS Trust Fund. They have real T-Bill assets that can be converted to cash.
