OK. Fair enough. BTW, I don't always vote my wallet. I voted for Kerry, and I assure you, that was voting against my wallet. This is the first time I've sidelined every other value I hold simply to try to get a President in the Whitehouse who was more adept at making friends in the world, rather than making enemies.

So I'm most definitely not a sellout when it comes to my values. I have pretty well ossified values that guide most of my political decisions. Those values don't change. Political party's and their values change with the wind. If one party advocates my values, then I vote for them, regardless of whether they are red or blue.

Anyway, I think we are going down the wrong path too. I think McCain or Liberman would have been better choices. Both are good men. Both are intelligent. Bush I feel is a good man, but I feel he makes too many mistakes, especially with diplomacy.

However, none of that makes me doubt the soundness of our society and its superiority to the shambles of the Muslim Fundamentalists' culture, who's most (in)famous invention of the last few centuries has been terrorism. As such, I am all for striking an aggressive posture towards eliminating this virulent culture in all ways possible. Bush strikes the right pose, but then botches the execution. That is where I fault him the most.
