INTERESTING OBSERVATIONS:
- It was a pain in the butt to deal with the pre-announced charges, regardless of which way we did it. I think in the future we will probably go with TGP’s oh-so-wise suggestion: whatever number they post on their bottom line is the number we use. No ifs, ands, butts, adjustments, one-times, pro-forma, GAAP, or nuthin’. Definitely more of a lottery style, but very, very, very clean from a contest moderation perspective. BTW, anyone notice that the Analysts still did extremely well in spite of this adjustment?
- niceguy767 was first to revise on the AMD contest, and went on to win the contest.
- Team Analyst did well this quarter, winning the combined single quarter outright, and moving into first place in the Intel 1-year cumulative score.
- Team w:o finally has 4 scores to its credit and jumped into 2nd in both the Combined and the AMD 1-yr Cumulative leaderboards.
- Considerable movement on the Intel 1-year Cumulative leaderboard, with Albert_Blue moving into first and kpf moving into 2nd.
