The problem with retailing at Xmas is just that, retailer's profits are now totally hung up on the Xmas rush. That's one big headache for retailers and consumers alike as consumers save up their pennies the rest of the year for a big blow out in a single month.

We could still have a celebration of the Constitution and the 30th Ammendment: You have the right to shop yourself into oblivion and bankruptcy. How much Jesus do you see during Xmas versus how much pagan and commercial frivolity?

Barbara Boxer is really showing some spine lately. Geez, if every state had at least one of her....we could protect the country from that miscreant thug Shrub.
