The truly stupid thing is that none of this is much of a secret (except for the tactics) as the motivation of this entire mess is clearly laid out in Bush's yammerings AND the PNAC docs.

It's the inane domino theory in which liberal democracy will take root by increasingly illiberal USA toppling one regime after another and leaving a disaster area in its wake. The Iran nuclear facilities, since the Israeli bombing of the one in Iraq, are scattered around civilian areas.

Does Bush care about the loss of human life? Of course not. He's out to become King of the World.

Even his closest advisors are too stupid and flaccid to speak up to him. Bush: nastiness incorporated.
