Barbara Boxer voting 'no' to confirm Condoleezza Rice as secretary of state was entirely expected. The left's queen of mean had already made it know that she wasn't a fan. But two people voted against Dr. Rice's nomination. So who was the other one?

None other than the kept man himself: The Poodle. So why did John Kerry vote against her nomination? Was it because he genuinely thought she wasn't qualified? Of course not. His real reason for voting no was because he is bitter at having lost the election to George Bush. Call it a Senatorial temper tantrum. To be fair, he still does have a chance to vote for Condi when her nomination reaches the floor of the Senate. That way he can say that he voted against her before he voted for her. Clever guy, that Poodle.

It really is quite sad. But he needs to get this out of his system quick if he intends to run for the nomination again in 2008. There's nothing America hates more than a sore loser. And if he keeps up his Al Gore act much longer, he won't stand a chance.

Whatever he decides, we can thank God he's not being sworn in as President of the United States today at Noon.
