By definition, religious.. Having or showing belief in and reverence for God or a deity. The logical interpretation of the word religious clearly shows any person "Having or showing belief in and reverence for God or a deity" is religious.

For example Soumen Barua has suggested in his post that it believes in a deity and Satan. That would qualify as religious.
The ideas you suggest concerning what is the hearts and minds others and an opinion on what God would not do, does also suggest a confused and quite ignorant mind. I am a Catholic, I can tell you that I have no knowledge of what you call any mass worshiping and chanting. There are several ceremonies in the Church where many members come together to share in prayer and give thanks and remember God's goodness.

In general I would say if Soumen Barua claimed to have real any knowledge of religions, I would call Soumen Barua a faker. That conclusion is based upon an analysis of Soumen Barua's post.
