Contrast Maureen Dowd to Maureen Dowd. President Bush won a majority of the popular vote, which her hero Clinton never did. President Bush won by what Democrats would describe as a landslide of a Democrat had been elected.( Check out the MRC critique of West Wing description of 3.5M votes as a landslide [current margin, 3.3M]). President Bush knows what he want, her guy took a poll EVERY DAY to find out what he thought.

Maureen on Clinton's Inauguration:

"It has all been so much fun," Frank Rich and Maureen Dowd gushed in The New York Times in January 1993. It was Bill Clinton's one-week inaugural celebration. "Is it too much to ask that it go on forever?" (For those who loved America, the next eight years would only seem to go on forever.)

The casual observer might not detect bias. After you read it however, the bias is unmistakeable.
