Isn't Sunw exempt from SCO's license fee claims for LINUX code? Specifically I was thinking if any such code is found in SOLARIS or any code in any such open source LINUX product SUNW may have sold to a customer?

Didn't SUNW receive a non exclusive license from AT&T for the original Unix source code that is the basis for SCO's claim?

Maybe SUNW can capitalize on this and get everybody subject to this license fee to switch to SUNW's brand of LINUX (SOLARIS 10) even all of those IBM customers.

"We are in very close contact with thousands of our customers across many industries, and if and when we believe the demand is there for Solaris 10 on x86, we will review the matter."
