Bill Clinton's second inaugural had almost 250,000 people in attendance and over 6,000 marchers in the parade. pbs.org Ah, a good Democratic Party! Would you care to name a US President who did NOT have some festivities in honor of his inauguration? From the tone of your post, it is clear that you are really simply pissed that it is GWB and not John Kerry that this ball is in honor of.
