Perhaps you should check that again. I know people paying 200k for lots on the Pacific coast of Mexico that were just 60k a few years ago. Gasoline in Mexico used to be cheap now is more than what we pay here. Tools roads cost as much as the gas.

When Americans move in, prices go up.

Costa Rica is another example. Prices there are near what they are in the States. Used to be a good deal but no more. Check into other places like Belize and the Yucatan too. You'll be shocked.
