And these apps are not SPECint or fp which use non standard compilers and environments (can't use optimal libraries, inline asm or code rework for better speeds). If you want to use those type apps, then we should use single threaded SciMark Primordia or QMC where a 4P 846 does beat a P4 3.6E.

Last I looked a 2GHz 1MB A64 940 beats a P4 3.6E in games using the exact same video card (no comparing a AGP or PCIe version vs a PCI one). Even a A64 3200+ 939 (2GHz 512KB) did. P4Es "suck" at games wrt A64 even when using the ratings vs MHz.
