CCube is one of several chip vendors we speak with pretty often. We have looked at their JPEG chips in the past but are using LSI logic for JPEG right now.The markets we are in do not seem to be interested in editing video in the MPEG2 format (which would require and encoder/decoder such as CCube's), they see the MPEG2 format primarily for distribution (DVD, DBS, cable). The newest generation of digital video cameras use a format called DV (or DVCAM or DVCPRO) (which is not the same as DVD) and we are delivering products to OEMs that use this technology. Today it is supplied to us by Panasonic.
