The President's Speech Focuses on Ideals, Not the Details

I have heard others make similar comments. I dont understand why. This was an inaugaration speech NOT a state of the Union speech. It is SUPPOSED to be about IDEALS not DETAILS. Damn, is there even ONE OF US that would have liked to sit through a 3 hour speech on inaugaration day? George Washington, Father of our country and thus FATHER OF THE INAUGARATION SPEECH only spoke for 135 WORDS, surely there were few DETAILS in that speech. Another President, I forget which one spoke for FOUR HOURS, and guess what NO ONE REMEMBERS WHAT HE SAID OR WHO HE WAS, but he must have had a lot of details. hehe. jdn
