The are problems with just detecting H5N1. It looks like the media has really missed the spread on H5N1 in Thailand. H5N1 has the tsunami regions surrounded news.google.com The pandemic flu will go down as a colossal failure of media to report, health agencies to detect, and governments to fund. H5N1 doesn't read press releases.
