The Left is trying to over simplify and paint the election as being one of moral values. While that played a part, most people voted for Bush for other reasons.

Perhaps the most important: Kerry was a very poor choice. Kerry is a flip-flopper. No one knows where he stands on many issues, and it doesn't really matter because he could change his position at any time.
