It looks like Docomo just crossed the 9 million subscriber mark for FOMA. This would put them on a slightly slower track than December but they would still add about 770,000 new subs which would be their second best month ever. babelfish.altavista.com On a related note, the Japanese equivalent to the FCC (JATE) has recently approved a couple of FOMA x700i models. These are supposed to be the low-cost version of FOMA models and will hopefully boost Docomo over the 1 million a month add number when they hit the market (April?). Slacker
