Can't improve much on what Sir Orca has stated. The sanctions were having an effect. He was hampered in his ability to threaten other countries. With continued sanctions, inspections and a tightening of financial and trade restrictions we could have forced him out long before he died. The reason we didn't take this route is because W thought he was to much of a threat to attack New Jersey and he needed to be taken out immediately. jb
