Mr Boris Sawicky has been appointed as COO effective today.
Mr Sawicky has extensive experience managing both public and private companies focused on research
and development. His proven track record in providing assistance to emerging technology companies
has included a significant involvement in the development of strategic partnerships and the procurement
of investment capital. Mr Sawicky's recent senior positions have included: CEO of Offshore Resources
and Moli Energy Ltd, both public companies, as well as plant manager at Union Carbide between 1970
and 1981.
Advanced Strategies has been retained to provide investor relations services to the company. Based in
Vancouver, BC, ASI is one of Canada's largest specialty investor relations firms, and has offices in
Melbourne, Australia, and associates in Toronto and New York. ESI's file is managed by ASI's
president, Douglas A. Horne, who has 10 years of experience in corporate development, finance,
government relations and public affairs.
