Wow, I'm a bit surprised by that one, dabum. (LBTYA). I see the downward sloping 20 MA alright, but I also see the 50 MA not confirming it, at least not yet, and the MACD is still creeping up very nicely. I also like the way it's bucking a crappy market, which is so deeply oversold that we have to be alert to a dead man's bounce in the overall market. I wouldn't short much at this juncture - though I admit I've been raising cash and keeping tight stops on any longs. EDIT - I should have added that to my mind, raising cash is the same thing as shorting. At the beginning of every day you have the option of adding to your portfolio, or selling certain stocks. If you sell them, what you are saying is that you would short them if you didn't own them.
