Ultratech was written up in Photonics Mag. July issue announcing a new revolutionary stepper that combines photo steps and implant steps in one machine. It uses a 308-nm XeCL excimer laser. Ultratech developed the instrument thru a $1.5M partnership with the DARPA. Beta versions are to be deliverable March 98.

Does anyone know if the laser they are talking about in this article is made by JMAR? Sounds like there are several links...including partnership with DARPA, March 98 timeframe, and type of laser.
