OK I reckon worst case from Montana deposits. what is it, 600 miles from Lethbridge to Ft McMurray? and another 150 to Montana limestone = 750 miles trucking @ 10 cents a ton = $75
But limestone FOB would only be $5 so we are talking $80 landed, (and some rich truckers!) (I seem to remember your guys had a much higher price for it.) But there has got to be some a lot closer. If you go west out of Edmonton, isn't there some limestone there? Maybe I am way off base, but limestone seems so common that a guy forgets to take notice where it is. And lack of roads in Canada's north is a problem. Ya can't go east or west or south to get to Ft. McMurray!
