What are the drinking laws up there? They used to be pretty loose down here, but have tightened considerably. Along with improvements in car safety, the annual auto fatality rate dropped from over 65,000 to around 50,000.

Those numbers would indicate you have about 3,000 auto deaths a year. We have 10X your population, so we should have 30,000. But we have about 50,000.
