Of course we do. Science has saved my life. It's saved my husband's life- it's probably even saved your life, maybe more than once. I am reverent of those things which I am sure sustain my life. I think I would be ungrateful if I was not reverent of those things. I'm also just plain amazed at what science can do- and I am unable to understand how people can contemplate the advances we have made, and not be awed. I never will understand that.
