Alighieri, you are completely devoid of strategic thinking. Why does the U.S. ally itself with Pakistan you ask?

Your comprehension is really bad. I didn't ask any such question. I know the reason we are aligned with these folks. I merely pointed out the hypocrisy of a man who stands on the pulpit to condemn tyranny as he aligns himself with tyrants. Or the stupidity of encouraging, as his father did, rebellion against it, ignoring that those would rebel against his friends in Saudi Arabia and other such countries are the enemies we are fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.

That speech was meant to justify the failure of decision making that Iraq is.
