Pierre - Telco Test Equip.

I don't see where that would have an effect on Amati, though someone else might see something there???

Though if your interested in Telco Test Equip? I'm invested GenRad (GEN), bought in in July 96 $12.25, after a deal with MOT on test soultions for ADSL, sold all in Dec 96 at $22. Needed the cash for Xmas.
Thanks Santa.

Bought back in at an irresistable $12.65 in March 97. Been doing pretty good since, was going to pull out in July, but then Small caps seemed to be coming back again. Will hold for a while longer, and watching closly, as I dont know where the top is, but it's heading there fast. Up another $1 1/2 today ($27.75) and still climbing, diffently not pulling the plug yet.

I consider this as part of my Amati Profits, as I found GenRad while doing Amati Research just prior to Supercom 96.

GenRad Works with Motorola to Develop Production Test Solutions for
High-Growth Market

Concord, Massachusetts, May 29, 1996 -- GenRad, Inc. (NYSE:GEN), today announced that it will leverage its existing position in the local loop communications market with the development of production-ready test solutions for the Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) market. GenRad is currently gathering customer requirements for these solutions, which will be designed for Discrete Multi-Tone (DMT)-based ADSL systems.

ADSL is expected to play a crucial role over the next twenty years as telephone companies enter new markets for delivering information in video and multimedia formats. ADSL is expected to transform the
existing information system from one limited to voice, text and low-resolution graphics to a powerful network capable of bringing multimedia to everyone's home or small business in this century.
