Let's see and your version of Democracy is where we all pay into a system so that you can live a nice retirement. Some Democracy. Devoid of choice, what is Democracy, but taxation without representation? Seems colonial to me. And your foreign policy would be, let the tyrants rule. If they attack us, we'd say please don't do that and then go about our business. Or at the very most we'd fly our planes over to the immediate vicinity of Osama, say pre-war Afghanistan, and tell the Taleban, please let us have Osama. Oh, you don't want to turn him over? OK. Well, sorry to bother you, we'll go back home then. We certainly don't want to invade another country. That would be baddd! We might lose men in a war. So we can't risk that. Nothing is worth losing men in a war. But who cares about the men, it just costs too much. We'd run a deficit. Yes, let's forget this whole adventure and come home. It's getting to expensive...it might cut into my nice social security check that the nice young folks are working so hard to ensure that I have.
