I do feel cheated when others, who have never paid a dime to SI, have equal access as those of us who actually paid to be a "Lifetime" member

Why didn't you speak up about it when you signed up, back in 1997? Grandfathered of us didn't have to pay a ¢ back then for what you got when you forked over your (inflation not adjusted) dough.
