It is also very important that Hamas has an epiphany, not only that the terror has been counterproductive but that it is inherently immoral, particularly the terror directed at civilians Hams will never have this epiphany. The most they can agree to is a temporary hudna. The Palestinians can only be convinced that terror is impractical, whatever sense of morality they ever had about it is long gone.
