Ralph,

This evening for the first time , maybe ever, I seen an ad for the NATIONAL GUARD. And that indicates ONE thing, a lack of volunteers. The word is OUT. The NG goes to Iraq.. So they have to advertise with a good looking young woman saying, "I can be a soldier by day and go home at night". Yeah!!, not unless home is somewhere in Iraq.. :(

So volunteers for the NG are drying up and after they have dried up completely comes the big 'D', Draft under another name, like "national service", for example and where ALL able-bodied are directed toward 'military training' for homeland defense..
