OK, here is the thing about FireFox. You don't need to give up IE to try it. It installs quickly, and if you don't like it, it uninstalls easily. I have both IE and Firefox on my computer, as well as AOL, which I use for email. I've removed Opera, FireFox kicks Opera's fanny.

I assume you're using Windows XP, which has the ability to juggle all these different browsers seamlessly.
