Now then .. SI has gone through some lengths to convince people that this is still the same SI. There was a continuity of service and the fact that SI calls the old timers "grandfathered." These "grandfathered" people have been led to expect exactly the same deal just as if there was no transfer of ownership.

IF this is the same old SI, just better, then it's the old SI!

It wasn't just a purchase of limited assets. The entity called "SI" was transferred. The entity "SI" has obligations.

If you're going to do away with obligations, then the proper way to do it is to go through the federal court system.
