That's quite a snowfall! Reminds me of the time we had two blizzards, back to back, the second one before the first one could melt. That totalled about 30 inches but we didn't have 8ft snowdrifts.

I spent the day or so before the storm accumulating food and entertainment items, so we didn't really need to go out at all, but since there wasn't much snow I've gone back to organization. Funny how the stores all sell stuff for organizing this time of year. It must be one of those universal drives, like spring cleaning.

Anyway, I enjoyed driving on almost empty roads and shopping in almost empty stores, it was a nice change, especially after Christmas and the post-Christmas sales.
