Have you examined the various state statutes to determine that a parent has any say in how the remains are disposed of?

Can the father of the fetus, who escorted the mother to the abortion clinic, ask "Say, after you're done with the D & C, would it be alright if I took the remains away with me for burial? You could put them in one of those ziplock bags for me, okay?"

Unless the parents have the right to request that, then I don't see how anybody else has any business getting involved.
