The military's continued detention of Palestinians, and more specifically their killing when they resisted arrest, was an important factor in the collapse of a 2003 ceasefire after 51 days

An Israeli bus which Hamas blew up in the middle of those 51 days, with many dead, was an important factor too, but the Pals decided it didn't count and their faithful admirers in the Guardian et al have played along ever since. Let's sincerely hope that the Euro chorus is not so ready to ignore terrorist attacks this time around.
