turned out to be an unusual storm
what was unusual was the extreme cold so the snow was as light as we have ever had
ski areas up North would have killed for this one

it was the 5th biggest ever recorded
22 inches at Logan Airport
but only 2 miles away at Boston Common it was over 30 inches
so for many/most ever it was the largest in 150 years of records
ranges were from 20 inches to 38 inches
my area 32 inches
the worst was on the Cape and the Islands

highest winds were Nantucket at 84 MPH
highest wave height was 28 feet
temps this am are from -10 to +4
wind chills simply BRRRRR

finally, did I say
GO PATS! ????
