Wonder if VoIP has gotten a lot better? A friend in Thailand tried it back in 2000 and would call and it was ridiculous .. huge delay, poor sound, echo, static, etc. Doesn't it seem like phone service is too expensive in this day and age? Should be like $5 a month ya know?
