Good fences make good neighbors. In a final settlment there will be adjustments made to the 1967 borders based on 37 years of population movements offset by land transfers back to the Pals in equal amounts. The future of Jerusalem is the key to all of this. I suggested in an earlier post a Hong Kong like solution where Pals and Israelis would share ownershp in some creative way. My old dream was to have one govt building for both nations with a room between them where a supranational entity could resolve disputes and do joint ventures. Call me a dreamer but his is my one concession to the Marcos position. Mike
