The only time I "ignore" questions is when I have so many posts to answer that I miss some. Right now I have 185 posts that were addressed to me that I have not had time to answer yet. I am not someone who ignores posts that I do not know the answer to, or whatever you seem to be implying by your post.

I am not following the intelligent design debate seriously, and am not a scientist. I post articles from all sorts of sources that I find interesting and/or controversial, and not because I am advocating them. I enjoy the debate, because I usually learn something.

I don't know if intelligent design denys adaptation and survival of the fittest. Is that actually true, and if so, is it significant? I'm guessing it isn't. I did ask once when this was all supposed to have started--like with Noah's Ark or what? I did not get an answer to that question, or at least I have not come across it yet. I am a staunch believer in science, and think intelligent design as I understand it and creationism are total bunk. No one has the right to teach those things to my child, because they are based on religious beliefs, not science.

I do think it is scary that so many Americans do not believe in evolutionary theory. It's like we are all moving back to hollers or something.
