Hi Suma,

if you can point to scientific evidence of a gene that causes homsexuality, then I will acknowledge that the Bible must have it wrong. But as far as I know, there is no evidence one way or another that gay people are born that way.

In my opinion, part of our culture creates reasons that take away responsibility for one's actions. It's like a person who murders another and then claims that he was raised in Harlem or some other bad area and they just couldn't help it. I believe we all make choices about who we are and we are responsible for those choices, both in this world and the next.
