Taikun, when you originally brought this up I assumed that you were talking about contemporary global warming caused by burning fossil fuels. I explained why I thought there hasn't been enough recent melting to significantly change the shape of the Earth.

However, if you are talking about global warming since the last ice age, then of course I agree that the resultant melting of the massive ice sheets could affect the shape of the Earth. But I think you're going out on a limb to relate this to the recent tsunami. The theory of plate tectonics explains the regular occurrence of earthquakes regardless of whether or not the Earth is changing shape.
