mr. ass,er, on one hand you seem like you have a logical head on your shoulders when one reads some of your passages. on the other hand, you not only display some of the research skills equivalent to that of lucky girl, but if I am not mistaken here you are unwittingly entrapping yourself in your own clusterflick you are trying to impose on to the legal system.
racketeering and wire fraud could be defined as something as simple as making a statement such as "Tomorrow morning, look for ELCC to make a big move", etc, etc....of course those kind of remarks happen every day in stock chat rooms and boards across the world...much to much for the authorities to ever hope to pursue.
taking a step back from this whole mess, let's not forget that the bigger and more impacting crimes happen in the stock market every day without any legal action on that front.
the root of what has helped this elgindy case propel to where it is imo is the same reason that drives cases like yours, losing your ass in stocks and looking for revenge. If one digs deep, one will discover that certain people on the ausa prosecution team has very close ties to the scammy nasd, the very heart of the monster, the people who are so upset about people like elgindy shredding at the market structure , calling companies scams, etc. i wonder who connected to ausa lost their asser on some stock that elgindy may have ripped in the past. sure would be interesting to peel some layers back, eh ausa? betcha it would smell like an onion.
well, anyway, these circumstances obviously contributed to a tight focus on elgindy's actions post 9-11, and wow i have to admit, they appear to have found a doozey, as comical as it was with royer in the mix. but it's still small peanuts related to the bigger picture. the bigger picture which will continue to be ignored until ausa and co. are satisfied with their revenge fest and turnover the stock market witch hunting to people who are not biased.
are you biased mr. asser? i would love to know what was going through your head when your lost the first few million, and decided to go for more...please just tell me what the voices inside your head said when you were down to your last million. What made you go for, er, broke? I seriously would like to know as a matter of human interest.
my heart goes out to faith and the kids in this hard day. i sincerely hope she gets herself and family together on a track for the future.
my disappointment goes out to jeff royer, who in spite of the very nice fella that he was, appears to be completely stupid.
of course my disappointment goes out to elgindy also.
a few corrections i want to make on behalf of a few other people:
elgindy never in his life had 300 people paying $600 a month. towards the end he had 100 and change, and the average price paid was in the area of $300 to $400 or so. his web hoster took a nice chunk of that every month. there was a total of like 2 hedgefunds that paid like $1500 or something. in the end still nice money though, eh?
cleveland never traded an elgindy account. it was royer who was granted trading privileges on an elgindy account. that is, until royer drove the value down so much that elgindy yanked the trading privilege away for a while (lol)
there are other statements made here all the time that simply aren't true but who can keep up with them all.
tmarsh dude don't go posting your number, these freakazoids will make you pay for that
i think it is fair to say that the former site members ultimately respected elgindy for what he used to provide, and still did up to the end..which was no nonsense stock busting and good times.. remember those funny-asser road trips in the hummer to go ferrert out a "suite address" listed in a stock document? lol
by far the best benefit was indeed the camaraderie of the site members - the research skills of all these guys and gals combined was beyond comprehension.
let's not forget that elgindy had a good stockpile of money prior to meeting royer - i would challenge anybody who thinks elgindy's worth increased substantially after "teaming up" with royer. a shame because due to lawyer fees, and probable penalties, faith and the kids will maybe get a vw bug and a trailer out of all this.
so go ahead hedfundman and your taint me buddies, hack away with your nutjob wisdom and spooky bad karma, for that's your choice in the end. |
