elgindy never in his life had 300 people paying $600 a month. towards the end he had 100 and change, and the average price paid was in the area of $300 to $400 or so. his web hoster took a nice chunk of that every month. That's $30-40,000 a month. I'm sure there are plenty here who know very well that in order to host a chat like AP had going the ongoing overheads are on the order of less than $1,000 a month.
