Very good point regarding Intel's lack of credible competition despite Asian currency mess. But I am more concerned about short-term volatility, worldwide PC-demand and its effect on Intel's stock price. After all, we are trying to decide just when to get even more Intel shares <g>>. In all seriousness, Philipines, Malaysia, Thailand are small yams compared with China/Japan, but I bet together they outweigh Germany and France. I am just concerned that as the middle-class gets crushed, it will make for a disappointing Xmas for Intel, just when the market is so jittery about hi-tech in general. I agree that long-term demographics won't suffer; short-term however are we do to take some Maalox? <off-topic> What other Southeast Asian companies other than Bank of Bangkok are you familiar with?
