Absolutely. The MRC, partisan hacks and self promoters, passes for ACADEMIC RESEARCH? That is pathetic. The right wing is truly the ignorant class of the American Public. They do not understand that academic research must be based on supportable facts that pass muster under peer review. The entire point of academic research is to present ideas which are then put through the wringer in order to figure out if they have merit. It is truly sad that the right wingers on this thread are so poorly educated that they cannot tell the difference between academia and political-entertainment-for-profit. No wonder they voted for Bush, I suppose they think he's an intellectual...ROTFLMAO.
